I've devoured three and a half of the Baum books in the past week: Wonderful Wizard of Oz, then a compilation which has Marvelous Land of Oz, Ozma of Oz which I skimmed but need to get back to because the Nome King is hysterical, and now I'm working on Emerald City of Oz. Baum's to be exact.

Prompted by the (apparently false) belief I had that there had been a Clockwork Kingdom in the books, I now wonder what books we're considering canon here. If any.
( Even Baum couldn't get his canon right. )

So, I'm a couple chapters into Broken Hearts (the current fanfic on the table). Basic idea is, a month post-Eclipse, Raw calls his companions to the enclave of his tribe to share some "mixed" news with them. the good news being the Viewers want to rejoined the world, and bad news being a spoiler, and the ugly news even more so ( Read more... )
